How it works
You pick drivers from a real demolition derby. They earn points based on how they actually finish that night. Highest total wins the standings.
Points go to the top 6 in the feature — 100 for the win, down to 13 for 6th. Below that a driver scores nothing, so backing someone just to reach the feature earns you no points at all.
Those are the numbers a driver earns. Your entry total is shown on a 10x scale — the receipt on the leaderboard shows every step, so you can always check the math. Everyone is scaled the same way, so it moves no standings.
How to play
- 1Find a contestSomeone hosting a derby shares a link or a code. Open it and you see the field, the cost to enter, and when picks close.
- 2Draft before the event startsChoose your drivers and lock in your picks. You can change them as often as you like up until the deadline, and not one second after.
- 3Watch the leaderboardAs cars go out, the standings move. That view is unofficial — it is the scorer keeping up with the track, not the final word.
- 4See the final resultWhen the host posts the official result, everything is scored from that. If they correct it later, you see what changed and why. Ties are broken by your pick of which car goes out first.
What credits are
Credits are a prepaid fee for using the software. They are not currency and have no cash value — you buy them, you spend them entering contests, and that is the only direction they travel. They never expire and never convert back to money.
If a contest is cancelled before the event starts, the credits you spent entering it come back. Otherwise they are spent, the same as any other fee.

Bankroll
10 creditsYou get 100 Crashbucks to spread across 1 to 4 drivers, and how much you put on each is the whole game. Backing more drivers earns a bonus, but splitting your money means a winner pays you less.
Full Bankroll rulesMore formats are coming — Full Field, Bankroll: Teams, and Blind Draw. Only Bankroll can be scored today, so it is the only one you can create.
What Crash Picks is not
Crash Picks is scoring software. Contests are scored for standings, and that is all this platform does.
Anything arranged outside it — entry money, prizes, payouts — is between the people who arranged it. Crash Picks has no involvement in it and no liability for it, and you are responsible for following the law where you live.

Anyone can create a contest. Enter the event and its field of cars, share the code with your group, and post the result when the night is done. There is no application and no approval — you are the host of what you create.
